paul.  you are dead on here buddy.  and I think it is so important that we actively leverage “referral”  business.  More easily said then done when we all find ourselves so busy putting out fires and making sure our clients “feel” the love everyday. rock on.

    Paul,

I have been spouting this mantra to my sales teams all over the UK for some time.

Not rocket science just good old common sense.

I think its the lowest hanging of the low hanging fruit and yet you’re so right about getting too caught up to actually do it.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!

    Thanks Paul,
Plus, with the social media, I like asking “would you mind putting that in an email to share.”  Have a great weekend,

Why “cold call” when referrals are so much easier?  Right on Paul!!!

Paul…love this subject because I built my sales businesses for 30 years using it. Back then I would audio tape the testimonial and play it in all  presentations to potential clients… audio makes it memorable..

the other thing I did was take their photo and put together a flyer with the testimonial in it… made it look like an ad… then I could mail it over and over again… worked better than sending a brochure….

today I use a printed online card that is sent via the post office…

these all will help you win repeat sales again and again.. John
