Paul, here is one of the funny things I've noticed about prospecting.

When I am constantly prospecting with a good sales mix of phones, drive-by, stop-ins, email, snail mail, and social media (still a work in progress for me) I find that soon the return is greater than the effort I am putting forth. Perhaps this is the Law Of Attraction that Napoleon Hill spoke about.

The challenge then becomes keeping up that consistent prospecting effort with all the additional activity. That's when I go back and revisit "A Time Management Tale" by Uncle Paul.

Thank you Paul for all you do.

A burned-out prospector can often miss the big sales lead as his/her disposition and attitude towards the call is poor." Totally agree!

Your comments are quite accurate. When in sales, not enough prospecting to fill the top of the funnel can lead to disaster. If your main job is prospecting only, calling too much (without breaks in between) can lead to burn-out and a poor disposition on the phone. A burned-out prospector can often miss the big sales lead as his/her disposition and attitude towards the call is poor. Well said Paul!
