I passed an interesting billboard the other day that really made me think about what to do when you’re the small company in a sea of giants.
The billboard was for a restaurant and the headline read . . .
“Under A Billion Served!”
Quite frankly, I thought it was downright brilliant because they worked with what they had with grace and a side order of humor.
And when “size doesn’t matter” a company’s rank within an industry certainly does; unless you flaunt it like Avis did!
Sometimes we’re so busy being the underdog that we miss an opportunity to actually leverage it!
