There was a scene in Forrest Gump where Lieutenant Dan and Forrest were on their boat and Lt. Dan turns to Forrest and says “I never did thank you for saving my life”.
He smiles at Forrest and pulls himself out of his wheelchair for a swim. The camera zooms in on Lt Dan and he is smiling and at peace.
It was a big moment for Lt. Dan because he found his peace after a long period of hating God, hating life and certainly his circumstances.
I think we all need a “Lieutenant Dan” moment.
You know, that magical time when . . .
We’ve forgiven others
We’ve made our peace with our creator and . . .
We’ve forgiven ourselves.
Because life is way too short to carry all that extra weight!

Thanks Mike!
Happy Friday to you!
ALL best advice boils down to this – simple and elegant (yes, Uncle Paul, elegant!). From this point success is possible and failure is a guidepost on the journey.
You know what Vince? You get it dude 🙂
Thanks!
