More And More Companies Are Doing This And It Sucks!

I had two out of state key note addresses a few weeks ago and received an email about my payment to my gym.

I forgot to replace my payment method after my bank had thought my account had be accessed illegally and the payment didn’t go through.

No worries, I followed the link they gave me, tried to log in and guess what? I couldn’t access my account and it showed me as not having an account.

Being the eternal optimist, I tried to respond to their email asking for help and then they really pissed me off!

They sent me one of those “This email address isn’t monitored by a human” blow offs and . . .

No phone number, no “contact customer service” email etc.  Basically just a “Screw you we don’t want to interact with our customers” email.

I went to their website and there was no visible way to contact them.

I suppose I could have just cleared it up by going to the gym but why? They obviously don’t care about their customers so I let them terminate my membership and I took my business up the street.

The Team At Facebook Sucks At This Too!

I had an ad for an upcoming webinar rejected wrongfully the other day.

I go to reply and notice the “do not reply” thingy again.

Then I have to go through a series of cutting and pasting and being redirected . . .

Just to tell Facebook that they made a mistake.

Then, to top it off, I decided to let them know how sh*tty the whole experience was and I get this . . .

“We don’t typically respond to feedback emails, but we’re reviewing them.”

So whether it’s my gym, Facebook or at least a half dozen examples I could show you . . .

When did it become alright to make it clear that we don’t want our clients communicating with us?

And when did it become alright to tell our clients that we have no intention of responding?
