I’m getting up a little earlier tomorrow (Saturday) morning to put in a little extra time on my sales efforts.
The reason why I’m doing this (and the reason why I’ve been doing this for the last several weeks) is because things are slowing down out there and I refuse to “check out”, this early in the holiday season.
And before you think it’s a bad thing to sacrifice part of a weekend, please know;
That my wife and kids won’t mind, because I’m going to stuffing envelopes, writing emails etc, before they even get up. Teens have this crazy habit of sleeping in by the way.
I’m going to be listening to some awesome Christmas music and sipping my favorite coffee. We’re allowed to have fun, right?
And if that isn’t enough, I most definitely WILL be slowing down and taking some time off during the ACTUAL holidays. So why not put in a little extra effort now?
And forgive me for being a jerk, but . . .
I absolutely refuse to milk 30 days out of what really should be about a week of lost effort!
My W-2 seems to agree and I’m sure yours will too!
Cheers!
