I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that if you set an appointment with a prospective client for 10:15 on Wednesday, you’d put that on the calendar. Right?
How about if the boss tells you they need to speak with you on Friday at 2:00? Would you put that on your calendar?
And just to beat up the point, how about the client who says they would like to discuss upgrading their service with you on Thursday at 11:00 am?
Why wouldn’t you just commit these appointments to memory and if you remember, you remember?
Because it doesn’t work that way!
These are important things and we don’t want to risk missing them!
Interesting!
How about the other things that important to you . . . personally?
Things like . . .
Having at least one dinner, with your family, at the dining room table this week?
A date night with your significant other?
One on one time with your kid
Time for your hobbies?
Time to embrace your spiritual side?
Perhaps there’s a special cause you want to be involved in?
How about time for you to learn new things?
Time for you to just chill outside alone with your thoughts?
Just for the heck of it, let’s revisit the “appointment scenarios” I began today’s blog post with.
Would you just break an appointment with any of those people for the heck of it?
Of course you wouldn’t . . . that would be disrespectful.
Perhaps its time you give yourself the same respect you give others.
You’re so worth it!
One of the things we’re going to be talking about in A Simple Plan To Grow Your Sales is how we can balance the personal YOU with the business YOU.
So go ahead and get those things I mentioned on your calendar.
Respect those appointments the way you respect your business appointments
And come join us on May 10th so we can help you get your sh*t together!
