There are things that I’ve come across that make me uncomfortable as a sales professional but;
Over the last few years, I’ve grown that balls to try them anyway.
And I’m not talking about things that make me uncomfortable because of ethical and legal reasons;
I’m talking about things that require me to step outside my own comfort zone;
Like that annoying pop up you see when you visit my website. I hate those things but;
I heard several, well respected thought leaders talk about how they grew their email subscribers. So I decided to try it a few years ago and as a result, I’ve grown my email list by about 450%.
I could give you several other examples, but instead, I want to offer something that might make YOU feel uncomfortable;
Emailing A Potential Client, Over The Weekend?
Funny thing about the weekend;
There are less people emailing your potential clients (Actually, I’m going to tell you that it might be damn near zero)
There aren’t phones ringing and a million distractions and;
That sets the stage for YOU to stand out.
Heck, at the very least, it places your email at the top of the inbox come Monday morning.
Like anything else in sales;
This doesn’t have to be a tactic that you abuse but;
Perhaps it could be something worth a try and;
Don’t worry so much about pissing people off.
That doesn’t mean you should go out of your way to be a dick about it;
It just means that sometimes, we’re so busy tiptoeing around potential clients that;
Someone less bashful swipes our opportunity!
