1) Get your prospect back into “state”. When I say “state” I mean back to the point where they expressed emotions about either fixing something that’s broken or embracing an opportunity. The challenge with this is that lots has happened in their world since your last meeting and they don’t have you and your company on the brain. How do we bring them back?
2) Remove Barriers: (especially psychological ones) I offer a few ways for you to create a more collaborative feel to your meetings.
3) Control the flow of information: How to keep this from going immediately into a price discussion.
4) Make Intangibles Tangible: This is huge! How can you describe aspects of your value proposition in a way that your prospect can truly visualize the benefits!
5) Prove it proactively: How to add mega credibility to your words!
6) Don’t lecture them . . . Interact with them! How to get your audience actively involved!
