
I see lots of posts on social media telling us we need to be more human during these troubling times and quite frankly;
I agree, but;
One thing I have zero patience for are all these posts telling sales reps that its ethically and morally wrong to sell at a time like this.
BULLSHIT!
Try paying your mortgage with your newly renewed sense of “being human”.
Try paying for all those groceries (not to mention the truckload of toilet paper) with all this “be human” stuff.
Time out!
Nobody is telling you NOT to be human!
I’m suggesting that it’s perfectly acceptable to do your job and help others via your solution too!
I’m also telling you that if everyone holds off on selling and we marry that with a temporary shuttering of businesses;
The economy is going to get rogered!
And then there’s this . . .
You can help more people with money in your pocket!
If you truly want to help mankind, you’re going to need money in your pocket to do it.
We donated food to the local food pantry and I upped my donations to my two core charities.
Why?
Because many charities are taking a hit right now.
I’m also buying more things from the local “mom and pop” stores than usual to help them have a little more padding in case this thing goes south.
I couldn’t do it without money in my pocket!
If you choose not to sell at a time like this;
That’s your prerogative, but;
Don’t you dare give someone shit because they made a different decision.
