Would You Do This On The Weekends To Help Get Your Sales Back On Track?

I’ve never been a fan of “hustle porn”! You know, the “I’m working this weekend while y’all are slacking” type of garbage.

I’m a big fan of engaging in what experts refer to as “having a life”, but;

When sales are off due to the pandemic, and;

We’re about to head into the old holiday mental check out with extra helpings of “Call me back after the holidays”, we should seriously consider stepping it up!

Here’s a radical idea;

Get up an hour earlier on Saturday and Sunday, and;

Put that time towards any (or all) of the 3 drivers of sales success;

Getting New Accounts

Retaining/WOWing Existing Accounts

Growing Accounts

How can you do that on the weekends?

You’re not going to actually engage with anyone over the weekend, but;

You could use that time to do any combinations of the following;

Research and prep for some of your calls for the upcoming week.

Embedded Video Emails: Shoot a few videos and use a free app like Vidyard to embed them into your emails.

Pick a few LinkedIn connections and send them each an email suggesting a quick call to get to know each other one day next week.

Send a handwritten note to a prospect or client.

Use one of these creative ideas to stand out.

Introduce two people who should know each other.

Send a helpful resource to your prospects and clients.

Think about how you can use the fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, The Holiday Season, Year End, etc., to change up your messaging.

Here’s the best part;

If you were to start today and do 60 minutes each day of the weekend, until year end;

You will have given yourself the gift of;

3 EXTRA Selling Days By Year End!

“But that takes time away from my family!”

Get up an hour earlier. A small price to pay to help replace some of the opportunities you’ve lost this year!

But don’t confuse action with planning;

When we’re talking about stepping up our efforts, the planning is important, but;

So is getting your uniform dirty!

Make sure you’re doing BOTH!
