Texting Potential Clients: 3 Reasons Why You Should

have to admit that I’ve struggled with the idea of using text messaging as part of my prospecting cadence and;

That’s exactly why I decided to explore it further!

Here are 3 compelling reasons to consider using text messages in your prospecting sequence;

Reason #1: Just About All Of Them Get Read! According to Mobile Networking Watch, 98% of all text messages are opened compared to 22% with emails. 95% of these texts will be read within 3 minutes of being sent.

Reason #2: Better Response Rate! Text messages have a 45% response rate. 

Reason #3: Quicker Response Time! The average response time to a text message is 90 seconds!

But here’s the bad news about using text messages in a prospecting sequence;

You MUST get permission first! You can’t just send a cold text WITHOUT an opt-in from the recipient, and quite frankly;

That’s easier said than done!
