The truth is a funny thing . . .
It can annoy you, hurt you and flat out insult you!
It can cause you to push back when your ego steps in as if to say “I got this one dude”
So we do the admirable thing . . .
and avoid it!
Then it leaves us, taking something very valuable for ransom . . .
The lesson!
If you want to make a change in your life that can impact you tremendously . . .
Catch yourself when you are getting defensive.
If you seek advice, truly seek advice and not merely a confirmation of what you are doing.
Don’t let the “how” as in how it was said to you get in the way of the lesson.
And don’t get me wrong . . .
Sometimes its time to push back and even verbally throw down when someone crosses that line.
And other times we need to tell our ego “I got this one dude . . . go wait in the car”
Today is all about gravitating towards our lessons . . .
Not away from them!

You know Paul, I can honestly say at one point in my life I use to have this problem of being defensive and then wisdom found me. I have also reached a point in my life that I am “hopefully tactful” and most times, brutally honest. Things sometimes slip out too….ooopsy!

I Am so feeling what you are saying because lately I have been hearing something that I have never heard or listened to before. It is truthful and sort of grey. Dismallish if I let the ego get in the way of the gem of wisodm hidden within the offering. I needed to hear you say it as you did. Pure Confirmation by the Universe through You Jedi
