I was thinking about how things have a way of blending in with the landscape.
I decided to take some things and reexamine them from a sales perspective.
I took some key industrial parks by me and did the unthinkable . . . I got in my car and drove to them.
Why?
So I could eyeball the businesses I plan to go after.
Armed with my handy dandy i=phone, I simply jotted down the names of the companies I wanted to research later.
I did this over the weekend to maximize my selling time during the week.
During my travels during the week, I made it a point to stop by some multi tenant buildings that were around the appointments I ran.
I took that same handy dandy i-phone and took a picture of the building directory and found it hard not to hum the theme to “James Bond” while I did it!
I didn’t stop there . . .
I started going through my many Linkedin contacts to reacquaint myself and map my communication with several contacts going forward.
When was the last time you went through your social networking contacts and did some thinking and mapping?
I could go on and on but here’s the point . . .
For those of you driving to work . . . stuff blends in. Open your eyes for opportunity!
For those of you racing to an appointment . . . stuff blends in! Sometimes (depending on our industries) we pass mucho money while we’re racing to go make money. Ironic huh?
For those of you who have the ability to go visit your accounts but haven’t . . . stuff not only blends in but you can’t see it from your phone or computer screen.
Today you are cordially invited to remember that GOYA isn’t just a line of fine authentic Hispanic specialties!
