Last month Jordan Romero became the youngest person to climb Mount Everest. He did it at the ripe old age of 13. On the opposite end of the age continuum is Min Bahadur Sherchan who is the oldest person to climb Everest at 76 years old.
And not being one who can just leave things alone, I discovered Everest has been conquered by people who:
Were blind
Lost their hands
Lost their legs
And yet, they still made the 29,035 ft journey.
Today’s lesson is simple . . . If they can climb a 29,035 ft mountain, then surely we can climb out of our chair today!
If you are a sales rep . . . climb out of your chair and get some face time with a client or prospect.
Sales Leadership: climb out of your chair and start embracing a mentality of “Field Commander”. Get out with your troops. Meet the clients.
Families: Climb into your Dining Room chair and have a family meal together
All: Give your soul a boost by climbing into a seat at your house of worship
And last, but not least, climb out of your chair today to give someone else a boost so they can climb their own mountain.
Happy Climbing!
