The first way to grow your business is to make sure you have a solid foundation with the business you already have in place.
Make sure that these clients love you!
Not like you.
Not fond of you but an all caps LOVE you!
You will never grow your business if you are losing it out the back door faster than you can bring new business in the front door!
How do you know when they love you?
One way to know is that they tell you flat out . . .
“Yo P-Dawg (my maiden name), I’ve grown my business substantially since hiring you as my coach”
“This place has been jumping with all kinds of activity since your speech here in January”
Or even a more direct . . . “Paul . . . We love you!”
If you aren’t hearing these things, then you need to jumpstart your existing relationships!
Offer no strings attached ideas
Surprise your clients
Care for your clients
Give them more love.
That brings us to the second way you grow your business . . .
Leverage The Love!
So when someone tells you how cool your product or service is, you have to capture that by saying something like . . .
“Anne-Marie, Is there any way you could put that in an email and send it me? I’d love to be able to show that potential clients because quite frankly, I’d love to have more clients just like you!”
This will help you offer a form of evidence to future clients.
But don’t stop there . . .
While they are in a moment of loving you, ask them if they know of anyone else who could benefit from your product or service. I mean if they are knee deep in telling you how much they love you, wouldn’t that be a cool time to ask for more love?
“DUH Paul!”
Yep I know I won’t win the originality award for this post today but . . .
I’m sure if you know you should be doing these things, that means you’re already all over these things right?
Today you are cordially invite to stop looking for the “Big Answer” and tend to the things that get dismissed along the way!
