I came across a new/newer prospecting tactic involving cold emails.
All you need is your smartphone and a free app like Canva or I use something called “WordSwag”.
Have someone take a picture of you (Not a fan of “selfies”) and then use your app to turn it into an appropriate meme, like this one where the SDR was suggesting a virtual cup of coffee.

Why do I like this approach;
It humanizes the rep’s prospecting and quite frankly, it’s harder to refuse someone calling you by name and looking right at you.
It’s a pattern interrupt because it DOESN’T follow the typical cold email trajectory. It’s fun and lighthearted which can be a much-needed breath of fresh air these days.
The embedded graphic serves as a scrolling speed bump.
And it’s an approach that HASN’T been beaten to death by sales reps yet.
This approach has many uses beyond suggesting a virtual cup of coffee.
In what ways could you use this personalized approach in your email outreach?
One more thing . . .
Call me crazy, but I think decision-makers are sick of the same approaches!
