Every year, since I was 16, I do something once I’m done with my Christmas shopping.
I buy something for myself and I’ll tell you why.
Giving is super important and so is doing something special for ourselves!
I look at it as being similar to what they tell you on a plane with the oxygen. They always tell you to put your mask on first, then help someone else.
When I remember to reward myself, it makes me feel good so;
I can continue to give to others.
Somewhere along the line, we’ve forgotten that we’re important too.
And if that makes us selfish, then I guess we can always make a note to give a sh*t what others think!
