On the surface, many of us THINK that we’re willing to try new things as sales professionals and then;
Almost in the same moment, go back to doing the same old things, without;
Ever questioning if perhaps there could be a BETTER way!
Some of the goals you set for this year require doing things differently;
Are you?
And let’s be honest;
Many of us avoid change because that means we’re going to suck at something new!
For 9 years now I’ve used a notebook for my coaching sessions.
If we’re being completely honest, I like handwritten “To Do” lists, making handwritten notes in meetings, handwritten journal entries, etc.
This not only makes for a lot of notebooks and note pads;
It’s a bitch trying to retrieve the info!
Later today I’m going to suck at something new!
I’m going to be switching over to something called a RocketBook.
I’ll still be able to take handwritten notes, make handwritten To Do lists, etc, but;
I’ll be writing on a special notebook that will allow me to digitize, organize, and retrieve everything better, but;
I’m going to feel like an idiot while I’m trying to figure it out.
I’m going to make mistakes.
I’ll want to revert back to my comfort zone.
In the end, I’m confident that I will have found a better way and;
Built up my “I’m willing to change” muscles!
Are you willing to suck at something new this year?
YOU’RE NOT SELLING AS MUCH AS YOU’D LIKE TO!
