Here’s My Answer To The “How Do You Warm Up A Cold Call?” Question!

One of the most common questions I get about prospecting is this:

“Is there a way to warm up my cold calls?”

My answer:

Focus more of your prospecting energy on your online and offline network!

There aren’t any “gatekeepers” there and;

Once you build a relationship with them;

They’re going to be quicker to buy from you and refer you than someone you cold call!

Most people avoid working their online and offline network simply because they don’t know how to.

They’d rather keep doing something they’re familiar with (cold calling) than complement it with something they’d have to learn how to do.

So as important as cold calling is to a sales rep;

Complementing that with people who’ve agreed to form a relationship with us expedites our success!

So whether you’re an experienced networking rock star or someone just starting to dip their toe in the water;

You’re going to need a plan to take the relationship from contact to contract and/or to referrals and warm intros!
