I’m assuming that if you were in a meeting with a client or potential client you would listen to them attentively right?
I know, stupid question, but humor me anyway.
Would you check emails or scan your smart phone for whatever it is you scan it for?
Another stupid question . . . or am I getting warm?
How about when you are in a company meeting?
I have a feeling I just lost lots people with that one.
One last one . . . when it’s the weekend, our after hours during the week, do you let your smart phone take your attention away from something that I’m guessing is a tad more important?
At your dinner table, do you allow technology to pull up a chair and kill the conversation?
And let’s be real . . .
This whole “I gotta take this call” “I need to check this quick” thing, in most instances . . .
is complete bullsh*t!
Perhaps its time for us all to make a better decision and be more giving . . .
Of our undivided attention.
Wherever you are . . .Be There!
