Hey Uncle Paul,
How much time should I be spending on LinkedIn.
I don’t want to miss opportunities and yet, I don’t want it to cut into the time I’ve allotted for other sales activities.
Thoughts?
Everyone is different and we all have different objectives when it comes to LinkedIn.
With that in mind, please consider the following thoughts as an adjustable plan.
Overall, shoot for a minimum of 15-30 minutes each day for interacting and another 60-90 minutes each week for approximately 3 “warm calls”you generate from LinkedIn.
Here’s how it works . . .
Each morning (or evening if you prefer) set a timer for 15-30 minutes and then do your thing on LinkedIn.
During your LinkedIn time, don’t do anything else except the task at hand.
When the timer is done . . .You’re done!
This keeps you from turning LinkedIn into a full time career.
Now everything you do during this time should be to create a basic comfort level with your network so they;
Get on a call with you.
And that brings us to . . .
60-90 minutes of “warm calls” each week with at least 3 connections. Note: I share the template I use as well as a step by step plan for these calls HERE and its FREE!
Speaking with at least 3 people from your network will go a long way in create familiarity and comfort and;
That’s one of the steps we need in order for people to buy from us, refer us to others, help us to get a warm intro to others, share our updates etc.
Oh, and hardly anyone does this on LinkedIn so you’re gonna stand out!
