Every once in a while during his team sales meetings;
He has everyone on his sales team bring copies of the emails they’re using to hunt for new business.
One by one, the rest of the team critiques the email and makes suggestions.
They also make it a habit to steal ideas from each other.
Each person revises their email and sends it as a word doc to the Sales Manager.
The Sales Manager compiles them all and sends it out to everyone.
This simple exercise accomplishes several things;
First, it forces each person to be a true student and embrace feedback.
It forces everyone to think, rethink, and rethink their emails some more.
It helps the entire team craft BETTER emails.
It helps the entire team expand their sales email repertoire!
