The 5 Types Of People You Should Contact Immediately

There’s no denying it . . . There’s a certain energy and renewed vigor that we experience this time of year!

I’m guessing that you’re experiencing it but I’m wondering if you’re cashing in on the fact that people who buy your widget also experience it?

So imagine if you will, the incredible energy that’s created when a sales rep who’s renewed and recharged and ready to kick ass;

Aligns with someone who buys their widget who is also renewed and recharged and ready to kick ass.

Then add in generous helpings of the belief we experience this time of year.

Belief that this will be our year.

Belief that we’re going to “make it happen”

Oh, and then accept the fact that people might just be willing to finally make a change.

To me that spells opportunity but a short lived one at that, because  that “new car smell” of the new year is about to become filled with the aroma of “same old same old”

With that in mind, you really need to step up your appearances with these 5 types of people.

1) Your Clients (I know, duh) Perhaps they weren’t open to something last year but now (considering their high levels of piss and vinegar) they would welcome.

2) Prospects Maybe the new year will serve as a friendly nudge of the fence of indecision?

3) People You’ve Met With That Went “M.I.A.” At the very least, you have a reason for a call instead of the typical (and really freakin boring) “Calling to check in”

4) People Who Told You “No” Last Year. Things change. People come and go. Yesterday’s “No” can be today’s “HELL YES!”

5) People You Avoided Simply Because You Thought They Were Out Of Your League! This one is purely selfish. If you’re feeling awesome right now, and full of that “New Year’s Piss and Vinegar” perhaps you can find the balls to make contact and realize,once and for all that you are worthy of great clients!

As I’ve mentioned before gang, there’s a Red Bull Adrenaline rush this time of year that quickly goes into a debilitating crash in a few weeks.
