Funny thing about egos . . .

The ego protects us from rejection, harsh criticism, nasty remarks and in many ways enables us to leap tall buildings in a single bound in sales but . . .

It can also protect us from reality and the lessons that come with it.

Perhaps we aren’t as good as we’d like think we are?

Maybe it isn’t the product, the price, those damn customer service people or our boss’s fault?

Perhaps there’s power in knowing the right time to tell your ego to go wait in the car?
