C. S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien would often give each other pep talks during their biggest writing challenges. There are many who believe that if it wasn’t for that encouragement the world might not have The Chronicles Of Narnia or The Lord Of The Rings.
So apparently, world class authors need encouragement?
Amongst the personal belongs that Abraham Lincoln had with him at the time of his death was an old, weathered newspaper article. The article talked about how Lincoln was an awesome President and what a great job he did.
The President of The United States digging a little encouragement? Say it isn’t so!
How about a shy kid who didn’t know what he wanted to be when he grew up. He would argue with his Dad about college and direction . . . his Dad kept serving the encouragement and Paul Castain found his voice.
Somebody, somewhere in your world, needs your encouragement.
The cost to you is a moment of your time and a kind word.
So come on now, run along and encourage someone before this awesome day ends!
You’ll both be better for it!
