I began to think about year end and the inevitable “mental sabbatical” buyers will be taking back a few weeks ago!
As good as business has been for me at Castain Training Systems, I know things would still slow down dramatically at year end but;
I also know that I CAN’T afford to miss several weeks of activity and;
I think its ridiculous to fill my calendar with a bunch of “admin days” because the rest of the world, checks out!
So I began stepping up my “appearances”.
A few weeks ago, I decided to go into more of a “sprint”, even though it was barely September.
So, aside from the things I typically do to generate business during business hours, I added more activity before and after hours and on the weekend!
As a matter of fact, last weekend, I was able to stuff a bunch of envelopes, get them to the post office, and then research a few people I’ve been calling this week.
I also sent out an email blast.
All while my kids were asleep!
Truth be told, I don’t mind sacrificing a bit of my after hours time right now;
To have more opportunities, while the rest of the world cries;
About nobody wanting to see them until after the holidays!
I believe the late, great Ned Stark said it best . . .
