I hesitated writing this today because I was afraid that this would come off as some “I told you so” sermon; t

That truly isn’t my intention, so here goes;

For years, I’ve talked about the importance of building a network, BEFORE you need it.

In a blink of an eye, the world changed overnight, and;

That network would sure come in handy right now!

So just like the tree in the Chinese proverb;

The best time to have nurtured your network was prior to Covid-19;

The second best is NOW!

And now is an awesome time because MORE people are starting to see (and depend upon) the value of having a network.

And just to be clear;

To nurture a network you don’t have to;

Have the perfect profile or be one of the “cool kids” posting content and getting a kazillion likes;

You just need to genuinely give a sh*t about people and do the unthinkable;

Be SOCIAL!

So if by chance you weren’t nurturing your LinkedIn network;

NOW is the second best time!
