A Simple Test That ALL Sales Emails Need To Pass

Most sales emails are littered with things  humans would never say in an actual conversation!

You know, things like “full service” “one source” “end to end” and a whole variety of other used and abused sales speak.

And sometimes we send emails that lack any personality, warmth, and sincerity which;

Immediately turns off the recipient.

Wanna know why?

Because people don’t talk that way!

That’s why you need . . .

The “Kitchen Table” Test

Take a look at that email you’re about to send, and then ask yourself . . .

Is this something I’d actually say to this person, if we were sitting at the kitchen table, having a conversation?

Here’s the thing . . .

Some things sound great in your conference room, or in a marketing discussion, or even in your team sales meeting but then;

You go out and say them and;

You disconnect with the recipient!

Why?

Because People don’t talk that way!

And let’s stop with the charade, and be ourselves, instead of;

Who marketing, or even our industry, has told us we should be.
