I want to keep this one short and sweet because quite frankly a blog about holiday weekends, while you’re knee deep in a holiday weekend isn’t bueno.
One of the best parts of a holiday weekend is the opportunity to slow down, catch up with family and come back recharged on Monday.
Pretty cool set up, right?
The challenge isn’t the weekend, its Monday morning when you still find yourself in “holiday mode”.
Perhaps you take a little extra time getting back to your routine because you’re tired.
Maybe, you’ll swap weekend war stories with your co workers. Why wouldn’t you, its called “caring”.
Don’t forget all those emails to catch up on if you were fortunate enough to have a half day Friday.
You might even hit a point where you justify not calling prospects or clients because of that whole “Monday after a holiday” thing.
And little by little, your day slips away from you!
This is just a friendly reminder to keep your eye on the prize on Monday but by all means feel free to do it with a few fresh memories of a wonderful holiday weekend.
We now return to our regularly scheduled holiday weekend.
Enjoy 🙂

Paul, Thanks and Happy Holiday Weekend to You! Time to make some memories with Family. Have a Good One!

Me too Terrie . . . enjoy that precious time!

I’ve found prospecting on any Monday morning isn’t the best time for many of the reasons stated above. My experience has shown the audience is less receptive until at least after lunch.
