There’s a quote from Lucinda Williams that  that made me get up off my ass and start Castain Training Systems.

I’ve posted it here numerous times and I end every one of my speeches and onsite training programs with it.

As it turns out, NOW is the moment you’ve been waiting for!

Here’s the crazy part . . .

We’re already 7 days in to a new year and I will guarantee something right here and now . . .

Before you know it, another year will bite the dust and you will feel like crap knowing you either didn’t give it your all, or because you put your head down and never tried.

That’s bad enough when we still have time to do something about it but the day will come when we don’t.

“There Is No Tomorrow!!!”

There was a scene in  Rocky III where Apollo Creed was training Rocky and Rocky wasn’t even trying. Creed yells at Rocky and asks “What’s the matter with you?” and Rocky responds with “Tomorrow” much in the way we justify our lack of effort. In other words . . . I’ll get to it tomorrow.

Creed responds to Rocky by yelling “There is no tomorrow!”

Our belief that we have a tomorrow, to undo the lack of effort today is getting us nowhere!
