Creativity Is A MUST If You’re Prospecting During The Pandemic

We’re now living in a world, where the noise has increased, and attention spans have, (oh look, a squirrel), diminished.

With that in mind, how can YOU, stand out and capture the attention;

Of a buyer who simply has way too many people, things, and circumstances competing for their attention?

One way, is to use a well balanced mix of prospecting activities, INSTEAD of doing what 99.9% of your competitors are doing;

Clinging too tightly to phone and email!

And no, I’m not dissing cold calls and email;

I just think they’re lonely, and in need of some companionship from additional forms of outreach.

Things such as . . .

Snail Mail, FedEx, Drop in, Drop off, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Content, Warm Intro, Referral, Traditional Networking, Text, Video, and

Creative Attention Getters”!

Today, I want to focus on that “Creative Attention Getter” thing!

Using creativity will give you at least two benefits for the price of one action;

First, you’re going to stand out. 

As much as I love the phone, I see it as more of a typical approach (when used as a stand alone form of outreach), versus an “I’m different than all these other reps” approach. Phone and email are also your two noisiest channels.

Second, since your potential clients need creative solutions to their challenges, it offers YOU the opportunity, to demonstrate, your creativity.

And if we’re being honest, we’d all like to think we’re different from our competitors, but how many of us actually demonstrate our difference?

So that’s your assignment for today;

Answer the question;

In what ways can I use my CREATIVITY to capture the attention of the decision maker?

Sales Managers: Brainstorm this question in your next sales meeting. As pre-work, you can task each participant with bringing 1 creative prospecting idea to the meeting. Compile a document with all the ideas shared and send to everyone afterwards!

In Session 3, we’re going to talk about how you can use creativity to stand out and capture the attention of your prospects.

I’ll be sharing numerous real-life examples of what sales reps have been using during the pandemic.

In Session 4, I’m going to show you how to put everything together into an all caps EPIC prospecting campaign

We’ll explore a lethal tactic called “Mixing and Mapping”.

You’ll be creating a well orchestrated prospecting campaign and sending it to me so I can provide personalized feedback.

Class Begins On April 21st (from 11:30 am EST to 12:30 pm EST) and will continue each week, for four weeks until May 5th.
