How One Simple Tactic Exploded My Business Last Year

Last year was a record year for Castain Training Systems and it was all because of a “lightbulb moment” with something I learned two decades ago!

Tony Robbins used to tell a story about how he became a great speaker.

When he first started out, he worked for an organization where their best speakers had about a dozen speaking engagements per year. Note: I don’t remember the actual number nor is it important.

Tony asked himself a question . . .

How can I get the same results, in a fraction of the time?

So he devised a plan, to speak, anywhere and everywhere people would allow him to talk.

Many times those speaking gigs didn’t pay but;

Tony could still get the benefit of developing his speaking chops.

Soon Tony was speaking more in 30 days, than their best speakers were in an entire year.

He accelerated his learning curve and in turn,

Over time it accelerated his results.

I decided to apply this approach to my webinar sales.

Prior to July of last year, I did a webinar every 4-6 weeks.

I decided to accelerate it to one webinar every 2 weeks.

Soon, I was selling MORE webinars in 2 weeks, than when I had 6 weeks to do the job.

But something more important happened;

Because I was doing the webinars more often;

I became a better speaker

I became better at setting up the sales pages to promote the webinar.

I became better at my selling efforts (phone, email blasts, content, etc)

And now the part that might make many of you uncomfortable;

I made MORE Mistakes

And thank God for that because its in those moments that I screwed up;

That I learned my greatest lessons and;

Because there wasn’t a lot of time to dick around, I had to correct those mistakes quickly!

And don’t get me wrong, I also did a lot of the “right things” and made note of them so that when the next webinar was ready to promote;

I knew a better way.

I could go on and on but let’s make this all about YOU.
