Understand that it has an expiration date!
Understand that most people . . .
Either don’t have a plan from the word “no” or . . .
Simply give up after the word “no”.
No is not a door slammed shut for all eternity . . . it simply means “Not Now”
Think I’m kidding?
Here’s some proof . . .
Did you ever hear of a little book called “Chicken Soup For The Soul”? It was rejected by over 140 publishers!
Ever hear of a movie called “Rocky”? The script was rejected over 1500 times!
Colonel Sanders took over 1,000 “No’s” before receiving his first “YES” Note: I’m not sure that they typed in all caps back then or if someone yelled it at him. I was trying to be dramatic!
Henry Ford went broke 5 times before he succeeded! Note: I once lost everything I had and it was devastating . . . Ford must be thinking “Went broke once Castain? Lightweight!” to which I would reply “Touché but you’re dead (insert pregnant pause here) so there”
Rejection has an expiration date . . . Are you willing to stick it out?
Your time will come but you have to work for it by . . .
Mapping out what you’ll do in the face of a “No” and . . .
Have the guts to keep trying!
I’d like to hear from you on this . . .
How do you handle rejection?
