To the point where you will take action.

As you read this the wrong person is taking your your opportunities and ultimately, your money!

They don’t have your level of experience.

Their products and services are inferior.

When it comes to servicing  accounts . . . you could take them in your sleep.

Sales skills? Ha! You could beat them with whatever it is you use for sales skills tied behind your back.

But still they kick your ass simply because they are more visible than you!

People know who they are because they show up on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Google+.

Perhaps they’ve chosen to write a blog or even do a podcast.

And they marry those newer things with a good sales mix that includes phone calls, emails, snail mail, creative things, traditional networking, referrals etc.

Note: I didn’t say they trashed the traditional so they could chase a “bright shiny object” they are marrying the tried and true traditional with all the places where their prospect’s eyeballs have shifted to!

That should piss you off . . . especially since you just lost to someone simply because people know who they are and they don’t know who you are.

This is the exact reason why I decided to create a more visible “Castain Brand” back in 2008 and it’s the exact reason why you have to stop dismissing the new tools because you “don’t get it” or you think they lack the personal touch of the traditional.

Nobody cares what “you get”!

Your clients and prospects don’t . . .

They simply show up, where THEY want to and it your competitor shows up there and you don’t . . .

Game over!
