The Deception Of The "No Time" "No Money" Objections

When a potential client tells you they don’t have the time to meet with you, do you believe them?

Or how about when a potential client tells you they don’t have it in the budget?

It’s not that they’re liars, its just that (in some cases) it’s a convenient excuse!

Guess What?

Now that I’ve gotten your attention, I have to confess . . .

I don’t want to talk about them today . . .

We Need To Talk!

Like those prospects, you reach for those excuses too when it comes to your development as a sales professional!

You say you don’t have the money and yet you support a $4 a day Starbucks habit, several lunches each week and invest in everything under the sun except yourself.

You say you don’t have the money and yet you don’t even take advantage of the free things out there!

You say you don’t have the time and yet you don’t utilize your drive time or all the time you spend on flights.

Perhaps you choose to spend that time playing on Facebook, watching videos of cats on YouTube  or being glued to your TV for several hours each day.

Just like when those prospect tell us about “No money” or “No time” the real problem begins when we don’t respectfully challenge what just might be . . .

A convenient excuse!
