Why You Should Put “Speed Bumps” In Your Cold Emails

There’s something really important that you need to understand about the way we read emails;

We tend to scroll through them quickly, and;

That can be bad for us in sales because the recipient might miss the compelling words and phrases that could cinch the deal!

This is why you should use “speed bumps” in your emails.

A speed bump slows us down, right?

There are things you can put in your email that will slow the scroll!

Things like using bold, highlighting, italicizing. bullets, check marks, headline text, a PS, etc.

You can also use images and embedded videos.

There’s also a concept called “anomalies” that you can use to slow the scroll.
