How is it possible to lose control 56 times during a single day?
Oh, and the 56 times you lose control will equate to 2.1 hours of lost productivity;
EVERY DAY!
Unfortunately, these aren’t random numbers!
That crazy “56 times” thing is the amount of times, on average, we are interrupted from what we are doing each day!
The source was an article written by Wendy Cole for Time Magazine.
The 2.1 hours is based on a study conducted by NYC research firm BASEX where they found that 2.1 hours of our day are wasted due to interruptions!
Now if these numbers are correct, you and I lose approximately 1 work week each month, and about 3 months each year;
Because of interruptions
I have to wonder how many of those interruptions are unnecessary?
I wonder how much more we could produce if we could liberate even half of that time and;
Give ourselves the gift of being able to focus on the task at hand and;
Even apply that time back to the sales activities that actually drive sales.
Have you ever taken a close look at your day or do you find yourself too busy . . . being interrupted ?
I created a really cool webinar (If I do say so myself) that will help you take BETTER control of your day to day.
