You’re running a thousand miles an hour and you have a million things going on at any given time.
You’d complain, but who’d listen because quite frankly, that’s what us aspiring sales rock stars do but . . .
You’re probably forgetting a few things because you’re running so hard and so fast.
1) You’re getting ideas throughout the day that you might be committing to memory. Make sure you get them into an app like Evernote or that handy dandy recorder on your smart phone.
2) Lessons. At some point during the day you did something right and sadly, you probably did some dopey stuff too. You need to make a “note to self” somewhere. My suggestion, first capture it in the same ways I outlined in item #1, then you’ll want to get them into your journal.
3) A Knowledge “Gem” from a blog like this, a podcast you listened to, a newsletter a coworker forwarded to you etc. Did you capture it somewhere and more importantly, schedule action around it?
We’re living in a society where our next “bright shiny object” is typically no more than about 9 seconds away.
That means you’re probably missing out an some awesome things throughout the day.
Make a “note to self” to change this vicious cycle starting tomorrow.
I really want you to have that awesome year you promised yourself you’d have, an eternity ago, on December 31st!
Are you with me?
By the way . . .
