Gratitude . . . 2 Feet At A Time!

For the longest time I’ve heard motivational speakers talk about the benefits of beginning each day with gratitude.

In fact, I’ve heard it so many times that I usually forget to do it each day.

That changed for me a few weeks ago when I came across a cool way to remember to do this.

Each morning when my feet hit the floor . . . I say “Thank You”


Well for starters, each day when my feet hit the floor it means I have another chance, another “at bat”

Besides . . . experts tell me waking up dead sucks!

So once I say “Thank You” I start going down the list of everything I am grateful for.

Another chance to put that ding in the universe

I must confess that I give it my utmost with the goal of working myself into a freakin frenzy  . . . Of Gratitude!

It doesn’t have to be some monumental thing in your life  . . . it could be anything . . . like the fact that I could watch the sunrise without seeing my neighbor outside smoking a cigarette in her pajamas.

Depending on which expert you choose to believe, they say we have anywhere from 60,000 – 90,000 thoughts each day . . .

Perhaps this is a way for us to take control of our very first thoughts each day  . .

2 feet at a time!
