How To Get A Prospect Excited About Your Upcoming Meeting

Pop Quiz: After you set an appointment with a potential client do you send a Pre-Appointment Kit?

I’m willing to bet that 99.9% of the sales population DOESN’T send one of these bad boys and that’s reason #1 why YOU should!

A pre-appointment kit is a kit that you send out to a prospect, prior to your first meeting to;

Help your prospect begin to know you, PRIOR to that first meeting.

Establish your expertise.

Help educate and inform your prospect.

Help set the rules of engagement WITHOUT being pushy or badmouthing your competitors.

Create excitement for the upcoming meeting.

Now there are several ways you can achieve these things.

As far as establishing your expertise, you could include a bio.

You can include a picture within the bio so they feel a sense of familiarity.

You can include some testimonials to establish trust which is probably unnecessary since decision makers have no reason to distrust sales reps, right?

You could include the agenda so they know their time will be invested wisely. You can even create the agenda in such a way that it builds anticipation for the upcoming meeting.

There are other things you can do but first, let me ask you;
