The Woman Who Seduced Me Into Spending An Obscene Amount Of Money On Cigars

One of my favorite things about taking my son back to college was being thrown out by my wife so I wouldn’t be in the way.

How’s that for a strong opener?

I looked forward to this because I’d pretend to be offended and then under protest, I’d go to my favorite cigar shop.

During one of these visits, I ran into the owner’s daughter, who basically seduced me into spending what experts refer to as a shitton of money.

She wasn’t sleazy about it.

She wasn’t flirtatious or inappropriate but;

She absolutely seduced me!

With each cigar we discussed, she told me stories about how the tobacco was grown, the regions of Nicaragua where the tobacco was grown, interesting things about the culture, how the cigars were rolled.

I wasn’t just buying cigars, I was buying the amazing stories that went with each of them.

There was something about her words that made me pay zero attention to how much I was spending until;

I was at checkout and she rang me up.

Still, I didn’t care because I wanted the experience.
