When the student is ready . . .
The “Teacher” appears.
The “teacher” can be an actual person who can help you and . . .
it can also be something that people miss all the time . . .
Our willingness to accept a lesson.
Perhaps a lesson we’ve heard many times but we simply weren’t ready . . .
To ACCEPT IT!
In that moment of acceptance . . . Your teacher has appeared.
The problem is that our ego can get in the way of that.
It loves to give us excuses and give us ways to transfer ownership by attributing this to the other person having a problem or attitude or simply not understanding us.
Fear has a way of getting in the way of the lesson too.
According to Dr Piers Steel its fear that’s at the root of our procrastination and don’t we have a way of putting off dealing with things?
Things that could be considered a “teacher” in their own right!
Perhaps your “teacher” has been staying away because you are too busy to accept them?
Some daily “thinking time” to reflect, ponder and plan might encourage the “teacher” to come knocking.
Has your “teacher” appeared?
